At the recent OTTplay Awards, Hina Khan, who is currently battling breast cancer, walked the red carpet in a stunning black dress and embraced her natural hair. The actor, who has completed her chemotherapy treatment and is now undergoing immunotherapy after surgery, shared with photographers, “Only so much hair has grown back as of now," with a smile.
On Instagram, she also posted an emotional note, reflecting on the recognition she received for her work in the serial Grihalaxmi. “Over my 16-year career, I've won many awards, but I’ve never shared a winning speech or stage interaction. This one feels particularly special because while filming Grihalaxmi, I was going through a really tough time, and so much happened afterward,” she shared.
“How do you guys like my new look?” Hina asked her followers.
It’s worth noting that hair loss is one of the most visible and emotionally difficult side effects of cancer treatment, especially chemotherapy.
